FAQ
CELPIP practice questions, answered
What candidates ask before they start practicing by part and task.
What are CELPIP practice questions by part and task?
Instead of a whole test, you practice one part of Listening or Reading, or one Writing or Speaking task, on its own. Each page here holds 50 sets for that one format, so you can repeat the format you find hardest.
How many CELPIP practice questions are there?
Twenty question types, each with 50 original practice sets: 6 Listening parts, 4 Reading parts, 2 Writing tasks and 8 Speaking tasks. That is 1,000 sets in total.
Are the practice questions free?
The first set of every part and task is free, with full scoring or evaluation. The remaining sets are part of the Pro plan.
Are these real CELPIP questions?
No. All material is original and written to match the format of each part and task. This site is independent and is not affiliated with CELPIP or Paragon Testing Enterprises.
Should I practice by part or take full tests?
Both. Use the part and task pages to fix a specific weakness, then take a full practice test for the same skill to rehearse pacing across the whole section.
Can I practice CELPIP Speaking questions here?
Yes. All eight Speaking tasks have their own page. You record your answer with the same preparation and speaking timers as the test and receive an AI evaluation with a transcript.
Do you offer CELPIP practice questions as a PDF?
No. The sets are interactive so they can be timed, scored and, for Writing and Speaking, evaluated. Listening in particular needs audio, which a PDF cannot provide.
Start with the part you find hardest
Every part and task has a free first set. Practice it, review every answer, and come back for the rest.
