CELTESTPIP Alternative: Pricing, Reviews and an Honest Comparison

CELTESTPIP pricing in CAD (what the site does not show you)

There is no pricing page on celtestpip.com; the URLs you would expect (/pricing, /plans, /pro) return nothing, and the prices only appear in a checkout window after you click Upgrade Now. On the review date that checkout listed four Pro Membership terms in Canadian dollars, each shown against a struck-through list price. The same four amounts appear as in-app purchases in the Canadian App Store, which is the closest thing to a public confirmation.

There is no lifetime plan. Payment runs through Stripe (Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Google Pay), and the terms of service say every plan renews automatically at the then-current price until you cancel in account settings or by email, with the cancellation taking effect at the end of the paid period. The only public discount is a 15 percent welcome discount for people who sign up through an affiliate's referral link; there is no coupon page.

What CELTESTPIP gives you for free

The free tier is designed to show you the interface rather than to let you sit a test. You get one free item in each of the 20 CELPIP task types, three free AI-scored Writing or Speaking submissions, previews of the six courses, the vocabulary trainer and the templates. The 60+ full mock exams are Pro only, so you cannot take a complete timed CELPIP sitting without paying.

Our free tier is built the other way round. Test 1 of the CELPIP General full mock and Test 1 of the CELPIP General LS full mock are free, as is Test 1 of each sectional test, one practice set in every task type and one vocabulary topic, all with the same AI Writing and Speaking evaluation Pro users get. What CELTESTPIP reviews actually say

CELTESTPIP's reviews are overwhelmingly positive, and it would be dishonest to suggest otherwise. On Trustpilot it held a 4.7 score from 31 reviews on the review date, 97 percent of them five stars and none below four. Its iOS app averaged 4.7 from 183 Canadian ratings and its Android app about 4.6 from roughly 150 to 160 reviews. No indexed Reddit thread mentioning CELTESTPIP could be found, even though "cel test pip review reddit" is a live search.

Recurring praise

• Mock tests that feel like the real exam, mentioned in most five-star reviews from April to September 2026.
• AI Writing and Speaking feedback described as demanding and specific, with several reviewers reporting CLB 9 to 12 results afterwards.
• Responsive support: one reviewer had a subscription error fixed and the membership extended.

Recurring complaints

• Reading content: the one sub-five-star Trustpilot review (May 2025) reported errors in Reading questions and repeated questions in Part 4.
• Language level: a Google Play review (June 2026) said the real CELPIP uses more academic language than the app's material.
• App stability and layout: one-star App Store reviews (December 2025, July 2026) cited crashes and a Speaking timer that is hard to see while you speak.
• One reviewer called the AI feedback inaccurate; this is a single review against many that praise it.

Is CELTESTPIP legit?

Yes. CELTESTPIP is operated by STARMOON TECHNOLOGIES INC., a Vancouver company founded in 2024 whose small studio also builds an IELTS practice tool and two children's apps. The domain dates from September 2024, the apps are published under the company name with a Vancouver address and phone number, and scam-checking sites rate the domain as safe. Its privacy policy states that recordings and practice submissions are not used to train AI models, while listing OpenAI and Stripe among its processors.

Like us, it is not affiliated with Paragon Testing Enterprises or Prometric, and its questions are written by CELTESTPIP rather than taken from real exams. What you should treat as marketing rather than fact: "largest CELPIP preparation platform online", "140,000+ test takers", a 4.9 rating from 781 reviews on its own site, and "sample answers for every CLB level from 4 to 12" (its Writing pages show three graded samples per free prompt and worked examples at CLB 7, 9 and 10). None of these could be checked against an independent source.

CELTESTPIP refund policy, explained

CELTESTPIP calls it a 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee, and all three conditions must be met: the purchase was within the last 7 calendar days, you have completed fewer than 10 practice exercises, and you have attempted no more than 2 mock exams. Dissatisfaction with your exam result and account sharing are excluded. Requests go through a self-serve refund page that requires signing in, and the policy warns that opening a payment dispute first may lead to account suspension.

Our refund policy is a 30-day money-back guarantee on the Monthly, 3-Month and 6-Month plans, on one condition: the paid material is completely unused. Open one paid test or submit one paid AI evaluation and the guarantee ends, because the evaluation is delivered the moment you submit. The Weekly plan is not covered, since its term is shorter than the window.

Where CELTESTPIP is genuinely strong
