I wanted to sort out our Saturday visit to the Willow County craft fair with you. We planned to take the morning bus and return on the special seven o’clock service. I was looking forward to it, and everything seemed settled until this week. The reason I’m asking now is that the organizer cancelled the evening return bus. The charter company reassigned its driver to another route after a vehicle breakdown. As a result, we can reach the fair but have no direct public ride home.

I first asked Priya whether her car has room after the event. She can take two passengers if we meet at the west gate at six thirty. I also checked the information we exchanged earlier so I would not overlook an existing condition. One detail to keep in mind is that you volunteered for the final demonstration and may not finish until six twenty. My preferred solution is accepting Priya’s ride and packing our purchases before the demonstration.

That would work best because we can leave on time without missing your volunteer commitment. I do not want to change more of the arrangement than the current problem requires. If that works for you, I can update everything else as soon as you reply. Another possibility is using the regular bus with a transfer in Marlow. The difficulty with that option is that the trip takes three hours and the final connection has a short transfer.

I thought about dropping the plan completely, but that would create more trouble than it solves. I’d rather use one of the practical alternatives that is already available. The practical detail I have not resolved is that Priya asks each passenger to contribute toward parking. Please tell me what you think we should do about that part of the plan.
