I wanted to check in about the club exhibition setup at Northlight Gallery. We planned to hang all prints Thursday evening before the Friday preview. Everything appeared to be settled, and I had planned around the original arrangement. I am contacting you now because the large landscape prints will not arrive until Friday morning. The courier held the package after its protective crate was damaged in transit. As a result, our original setup would leave one wall empty for the preview.

I first asked the gallery manager about a second installation window. She can give us Friday from nine until eleven before the building opens. I also checked the information we exchanged earlier so I would not overlook an existing condition. One detail to keep in mind is that you reserved the club’s laser level and hanging kit for Thursday. My preferred solution is moving the complete setup to Friday morning.

That would work best because we can arrange every wall once and keep the display spacing consistent. I do not want to change more of the arrangement than the current problem requires. If this is acceptable, I can update the remaining details as soon as I receive your reply. Another possibility is hanging the smaller prints Thursday and adding landscapes Friday. The difficulty with that option is that the second installation would require moving labels and protective barriers twice.

I considered cancelling the arrangement entirely, but that would create unnecessary work for everyone involved. For that reason, I would rather use one of the practical alternatives already available. The practical detail I have not resolved is that the gallery needs an updated list of members entering before public hours. Please let me know how that part should be handled if the preferred plan is approved.
