I first visited the service desk and showed our shared rental receipt. Staff issued one temporary key card that must be signed between users.

I also checked the earlier arrangements before deciding which alternative might cause the least disruption. One detail to keep in mind is that my towel and your fins are both still inside the locker. My preferred solution is meeting Friday evening so I can hand you the temporary card. That would work best because you will have the fins before practice and we can update both names together.

Another possibility is asking staff to open the locker for you Saturday morning. The difficulty with that option is that the service desk opens after your practice begins.

I thought about dropping the plan completely, but that would create more trouble than it solves. I’d rather use one of the practical alternatives that is already available. The practical detail I have not resolved is that the card must be returned within seven days or a replacement fee applies. Please tell me what you think we should do about that part of the plan.
